SonghaiPay is committed to providing secure and reliable money transfer services. This Refund Policy explains when refunds may be available, how cancellation requests are handled, and what to expect if a transfer needs to be corrected or reversed.
1. Cancellation Right
For eligible remittance transfers, you may request cancellation within 30 minutes after payment, provided the transfer has not already been picked up by the recipient or deposited into the recipient’s account.
If your request qualifies, SonghaiPay will cancel the transfer and refund the full amount you paid, including applicable fees, to the extent required by law.
2. Refund Timing
Approved refunds for eligible cancellation requests will be processed at no additional cost to you and are generally issued within three business days after we receive a valid request.
Depending on the original payment method, the refund may be returned to the same payment source or another lawful refund method.
3. Error Resolution
If you believe there was a mistake with a transfer, such as an incorrect amount, wrong recipient, delay, or non-delivery, contact SonghaiPay as soon as possible.
For remittance transfers, you generally have up to 180 days from the date the funds were supposed to be available to report an error. We will review the matter and respond within the time required by applicable law.
4. When Refunds May Not Apply
- The recipient has already received or picked up the funds.
- The cancellation request is made outside the allowed time window.
- The transfer was completed exactly as authorized by you.
- Applicable law, sanctions, or compliance requirements prohibit reversal.
5. How to Request a Refund
Please contact SonghaiPay support as soon as possible and include:
- Your full name and contact information.
- Your transfer reference number.
- The date and amount of the transfer.
- The recipient name and destination country.
- A brief explanation of the issue.
6. Customer Support
Refund requests are reviewed as quickly as possible, but faster notice improves the likelihood of cancellation or correction before funds are collected.
